Sheet Pan Italian Sausage Hoagie Sandwiches
This is an easy, hands-off meal that is sure to delight hungry teenagers and game-day viewers!
- 6 Italian Sausages (mild or spicy)
- 2 bell peppers chopped pick two different colors
- 1 chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 6 hoagie rolls or hot dog buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Chop onion and peppers and put them into a medium sized bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with salt and pepper. Pour onto the cookie sheet and spread them out. Nestle the sausages in between the vegetables.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the hoagie rolls in half.
Mix the mayo, mustard, and ketchup until combined and then spread on each half of the bread.
Place one sausage on each roll and spoon peppers and onions over the top. Serve warm.
