Sheet Pan Italian Sausage Hoagie Sandwiches

This is an easy, hands-off meal that is sure to delight hungry teenagers and game-day viewers!

  • 6 Italian Sausages (mild or spicy)
  • 2 bell peppers chopped pick two different colors
  • 1 chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 6 hoagie rolls or hot dog buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard


  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Chop onion and peppers and put them into a medium sized bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with salt and pepper. Pour onto the cookie sheet and spread them out. Nestle the sausages in between the vegetables.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cut the hoagie rolls in half.
  • Mix the mayo, mustard, and ketchup until combined and then spread on each half of the bread.
  • Place one sausage on each roll and spoon peppers and onions over the top. Serve warm.
