Easy Cinnamon French Toast

This recipe for cinnamon French toast is quick and easy enough for a hectic weekday morning but special enough to feel like Sunday brunch!

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 pieces regular sandwich bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: butter maple syrup, powdered sugar, fruit

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon until combined and pour into a flat pie tin.
  • Dip a piece of bread in the egg mixture, covering both sides. Do not let it soak.
  • Place the bread on a griddle heated over medium heat.
  • Cook until lightly browned, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Flip and cook the other side 1-2 minutes.
  • Repeat these steps for all the pieces of toast.
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
