Red Pepper Jelly and Coffee Crusted Ham

This beautiful and delicious ham is made with a spicy sweet glaze made from 3 simple ingredients. It's the perfect centerpiece for a holiday celebration.

  • 9-13 lb precooked and spiral sliced ham
  • 1/2 cup coffee brewed at double strength
  • 12-16 oz jar red pepper jelly
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt


  • Place ham in roasting pan and heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Whisk all ingredients together until thick but smooth.
  • Cover the ham with 1/2 cup of glaze, pushing into all the crevices.
  • Bake ham at 325 degrees for 90 minutes, basting with 1/2 cup of glaze every 30 minutes.
  • Remove the ham and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm with extra glaze if desired.


For hams larger than 13 pounds, increase cook time to 2 hours and make 1 and 1/2 recipes of the coffee/jelly glaze. Continue to baste every 30 minutes until done.
