uncooked pizza dough
store bought or homemade
or more shredded mozzarella cheese
large basil leaves
large diced tomato
Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Roll out dough onto pizza pan or stone.
Smear pesto all over the dough, leaving about 1/2 inch space around the edges.
Sprinkle the cheese over the pesto.
Evenly distribute the basil leaves across the cheese.
Sprinkle the tomato on the top.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the edges of the dough are browned.
Dough may need to cook longer with certain types of store bought pizza dough.
