Coca-Cola Glazed Holiday Ham
This Coca-Cola glazed ham will stun and delight your guests with it's glossy finish and superb taste. The ham will be a beautiful centerpiece as well as the delicious main course.
Ingredients
- 1 whole bone-in ham uncut (8-12 lbs) or 2 half hams uncut
- Whole cloves for decoration
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 1.5 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 can Coca-Cola
- Optional: parsley and lemon for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees or according to package instructions
- Cut ham diagonally to make diamond shapes, 1/2 inch deep
- Insert whole cloves into diamond shape until entire ham is covered
- Place ham in a roasting pan or glass pan and cover
- Cook ham for 1 hour
- Combine all glaze ingredients in a medium sauce pan
- Heat over medium heat until foamy
- Reduce to low and let simmer 20 minutes until it thickens
- Brush glaze over ham every 20 minutes after the 1st hour of cooking
- Reserve some glaze when serving the ham
- Decorate ham with parsley and lemon
