4-Ingredient Prosecco and Pineapple Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Prosecco or lemon-lime soda
  • 1 1/4 cups pineapple preserves or pineapple pepper jelly, orange marmalade or apricot jam
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 7-9 pounds pre-cooked spiral ham

Method

  1. Whisk the Prosecco, pineapple preserves and salt (or blend in a food processor for a smoother glaze).
  2. Set the ham in a roasting pan and brush about 1/2 cup of glaze all over, pushing it into the cuts.
  3. Bake at 325°F for about 90 minutes, brushing on another 1/2 cup of glaze every 30 minutes. A heavier ham needs longer; it is done at an internal temperature of 140°F.
  4. Spread any remaining glaze over the ham before serving.

Notes

Low and slow is the whole secret. The ham is already cooked, so you are just heating it evenly.
