Homemade Roots, Happy Little Accidents, and Classic Treats
We started baking our classic desserts back in 2016, but a few of the recipes go much further back. The cream puffs, for example, come straight from Heidi’s mom’s kitchen. She would make them for special occasions when the family got together, and we still use her recipe today. Over time, we’ve added more desserts to the menu, tested new flavors, and made small adjustments until each one tasted just right.
Not every recipe came from a plan though. A few of our most loved desserts were the result of happy little accidents, as Bob Ross would say. Maybe we changed the order of ingredients or used a different pan than usual, and it turned into something too good not to share. Some of those off-the-cuff moments have led to desserts that are now customer favorites.
Everything is baked in-house by our team, either fresh that morning or in small batches throughout the week. There’s nothing mass produced or sitting on a freezer truck. We cool our doughs and batters the right way, bake at the correct temperatures, and portion with care so every bar, brownie, and slice is as good as the last.
People stop by for all sorts of reasons. Some grab a dessert to enjoy with coffee. Others bring them to dinner parties, gift them to friends, or order for weddings and events. And the feedback we love the most is when someone says, “This reminds me of something my grandma used to make.”
